Kuching is the Capital City of Sarawak. Situated at the south tip of the state, she is an enchanting modern city that has not lost her historical charm. There are many places of interest in and around Kuching that is easily accessible by land transport.
One of our stops will be the renowned Sarawak Museum where collections of archaeological exhibits are found here. Tour will also bypass Civic Centre where the Amphitheater is also situated here. Visit the oldest Chinese temple in the city , the Tua Pek Kong - the grand uncle temple or go to visit the old state mosque located in the city
Thereafter, we will proceed to Waterfront, is the happening place for all of the locals. A stop here is most worthwhile - just taking in all of the interesting historical buildings. From Waterfront, we will continue our journey towards north. We are going to cross the Sarawak River to go to Petra Jaya area and drive pass the new State Mosque , Cat Museum and the modern State Library . Visit Pangkalan Sapi along the Sarawak River which is overlooking the city with Istana just next to it. |
